  1. I really want Karen O to win best song for Her (and I'd be pretty happy if Her also won best score - I really loved that film). I agree with your 12 years a slave picks and would definitely recommend giving blue Jasmine and the wolf of wall street a watch!

    1. Oh absolutely! The music in Her was gorgeous and Karen O is great! I loved her work on The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo as well. As soon as I get a chance I'll definitely check those two out :)

  2. I've only seen one movie even though I wanted to see more. I kinda want Leo to win just to watch the internet explode at him finally winning and Oscar.

    1. Honestly, I would probably explode if he won hahaha! I was just telling Matthew yesterday that if he won-it would be the highlight of the 2014 Oscars for me.

  3. I am so out of the loop with movies this year. How many days do I have to catch up?

    1. 5 days to go! There are quite a few that I missed, and I definitely won't be able to fit them in before Sunday.

  4. 12 Years a Slave for Best Picture all the way. I remember the trailer had me feeling my feels. And the film as a whole--so much to deal with, and so beautifully executed.

I think It would be great if Leo won! But Bale and Ejiofor were pretty amazing as well!
I haven't seen Dallas Buyer's Club yet nor gravity.

    1. Steve McQueen is such an artist with his films. Did you see Hunger or Shame? I love his body of work so much!

I want to see American Hustle so bad! Christian Bale is one of my all-time favorites so I'm sure his performance was stellar! There are so many great nominees this year!
