Rockport Wildlife: Black & White

I don't usually edit my photos in black & white because I'm obsessed with color, but I played around with it a bit on a few of the photos I took while in Rockport, and I actually liked these particular ones a lot better in black & white!

Do you ever edit your photos in black & white?

  3. I loved shooting in black in white back when I was working at a photo developing store. Something about black and white just instantly makes a photo seem "artistic."

    1. It really does! I think my favorite is the seagull. It just didn't look as special in color.

  4. I like black and white since it makes your (the photographer's) focus and vision more likely to be the observers--versus them being distracted by too much in the background. Also, I love how color can be simplified into white and black and the tones/shades in-between.
